Who am I?
Namaste. My name is Felicity West, but my friends and family call me City!
I am a Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher (RYT500, RYT200 with Yoga Alliance), Wellness Mentor and Truth Seeker.
I’m also an artist, creator and graphic designer.
I love exploring how to best live a life of balance, grace and self care. I adore meditation, creating art, following an ayurvedic lifestyle, pulling angel cards, my daily half decaf coffee, crystals, snuggles with my dogs and husband and helping others. And I LOVE to study and learn.
But it hasn’t always been this way. After years of abusing my body and mind as an overachieving, Type A, perfectionist, by 2010 in my early 30s I had racked up a long list of health issues over the years – Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, PCOS, anxiety, chemical sensitivity, adrenal fatigue, candida, weight gain, acne and a massive sugar addiction. Not to mention I had lost my way and endured dysfunctional relationships, abused drugs and alcohol, overexercised, under ate/binged on food and lost all sense of who I was as a woman in the process.

The ancient wisdom of Yoga & Yoga Therapy saved my life.
It put me back on the path of healing my body, mind, soul.
It reconnected me to my femininity and Soul’s truth along the way.
What do I do?
As a Wellness Mentor, Yoga Therapist and Yoga Teacher I have the honour of sharing this journey with other modern women seeking ancient wisdom to light the way home.
I encourage and guide modern women who are burnt out, depleted and lost to find their inner spark, soul connection and intuition again.
I share with them
the art of exquisite self care and self love.
I believe in THRIVING with GRACE. I am a cheerleader for YOUR soul’s truth.
I believe in syncronicity and divine winks.
I believe it is time to slow down, feel the body, soften and
b r e a t h e . . .
My difficult journey has gifted me with a deep understanding of the need to heal not just the body, but the mind and soul as well, in order to become whole again.
My journey has called me to serve others.
Those just stepping onto this path of self-care, self-love and self-belief for the first time.
Those who have temporarily stumbled off the path and need a friendly hand back on.
I am still learning, still growing. Forever a student of life.
Join me on finding your way back to more harmony in the body, mind and soul.
Yoga & Yoga Therapy
Diploma Yoga • Diploma Yoga Therapy • RYT 500/RYT 200 Yoga Teacher
Yoga, Yoga Therapy and Ayurveda changed my life and saved my life. I took my first yoga class in the 90s when I was in high school and while I loved it I thought I was too cool for yoga and moved on. But yoga had captured my attention and went on to become a constant presence all through my adult life, a practice I have returned to again and again. By 2010 when every area of my life was in crisis, I returned to yoga and this time I stayed. My practice deepened into a regular and important aspect of my life, something I practice daily.
I am a fully qualified and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT200 and RYT500 with the Yoga Alliance) and Yoga Therapist. I completed the one year, full time, 720 hour Diploma in Yoga through Wellpark College of Natural Therapies, studying with the renowned Dr Sridhar Maddela and Dr Pooja Maddela. I am forever humbled and grateful for their incredible knowledge and guidance in my journey.
I continued my training with the one year, full time, 720 hour Diploma in Yoga Therapy to build on the in depth knowledge and skills I had gained in yoga teacher training. On completion of my studies I gained over 1440 hours of yoga training along with a much deeper knowledge of Yoga and Integrated Yoga Therapy practices.
In particular the Diploma in Yoga Therapy is an intense year of training, requiring a deep commitment to rigorous study of classical yoga texts, exploration of medical science and yogic approaches to health, physical experience of the kriyas (yogic cleansing techniques), study of research papers in relation to yoga, training in ayurvedic and energetic massage practices and a full semester of client clinicals and case studies.
My teaching and personal yoga practice are grounded in a thorough understanding of the traditional yoga classical texts to facilitate healing at all levels of being, along with an understanding of how to integrate modern medical science with the yogic understanding of disease.
I serve my students best when I encourage them to offer the greatest kindness possible to their bodies as they move through a yoga practice.A kindness I sincerely hope they can cultivate off the mat and in their daily lives.
